The Village Centre
Wonderfully framed by 30ft palm trees, the symbol of the English Riviera, the Village Centre will be the heart of the community and the hub of everyday life. As you come into the centre, there’s no formal reception desk, just a stunning oval table with exotic floral display. The Village Centre is home to the delicatessen and café shop, and the main restaurant, which leads outside onto the Upper Terrace, with its al fresco seating area and wonderful sea views of the famous Jurassic coast. There are also private dining rooms, the library, music room, craft room and the main lounge, where there’s a choice of seating and tables for residents and visitors to enjoy drinks and bar snacks. At lower levels, the Wellness Spa, the health studio, gym and pool offer exercise, relaxation and therapeutic facilities for residents and guests alike.
Close Care Apartments
Designed for those requiring higher levels of supportive care, with optional or provided catering, the service fee can include food and drinks, restaurant meals, utilities, care and housekeeping. The emphasis is on flexibility of care and services to meet the changing needs of residents in order that the appropriate levels of support and care can be tailored to individual requirements.
Assisted Living Apartments
For those requiring lower levels of support, these stylish one-or two-bedroom apartments have spacious balconies and roof deck gardens and benefit from garage parking and a wonderful outlook. All en-suite, these apartments comprise a large sitting room, a fully fitted kitchen - most with additional dining area. Sliding glass doors open onto the balconies and roof deck gardens – with discreet bat friendly LED lighting. Wherever possible, living areas and decks look out to sea.
These pavilions, each with its own garage parking, are impressively designed and fit superbly with the natural lie of the land. All the pavilions sit in a smaller combe or valley, largely hidden from view from the main buildings and the village centre by trees or by a wooded outcrop. The care and attention to detail that has gone into their design and construction is second to none.
